Can anyone suggest some cheap wedding venues in New York City?

wedding planning new york
I’m getting married next year but i am young with not much money to plan anything extravagant. So i need ideas on some wedding venues in New York city with reasonable rates where i can host a small wedding of about 60 people.
Or in Long Island.

I don’t live in NYC anymore, but I do know why 3 hours have gone by and no ones answered your question. Such places don’t exist in NYC, I’ve never seen anything about real estate in NYC be described as “reasonable.” Sorry.

Now, if you were willing to go out to Long Island, Jersey or up to Connecticut, you’ve got less expensive options.

Do they have VFWs and American Legions in NYC? Do they have fire hall weddings in NYC? Maybe not since they actually get paid and aren’t voluteers. I don’t think reasonable and the city go together

I am in the same situation. The cheapest place I have found so far is the Bohemian Beergarden in Astoria. Its $2000 for 4 hours, and dinner ranges from $10-$30 a person. Another restaurant in Astoria, Cavo, looks pretty big from the webite, and dinner is $45-$65 per person. Not sure about other expenses there. I called the Metropolitan Building in Long Island City, and they told me it would be $10,000 for 100 people including food and dessert.

Are you in the city? Check out small museums (like not MOMA). A lot of them will rent time especially at night for events. You wouldn’t need to buy decorations either, because you would be surrounded by all that beautiful art.
