Some reception places include them in the price. Others have them optional for $100-$300 a piece.

If you are going to do an ice sculpture then do one that is actually functional. We went to a formal event last year that had an ice sculpture of a giant martini glass and the bartenders who were staffing it would make a drink - then pour it through the ice sculpture (there was a tube frozen in the “stem” of the glass) and it would pour out of the bottom all chilled and ready to go. It was a total hit! All of these usually stuffy people were absolutely ga-ga for the thing!

Have fun at your wedding - and congrats!

the ice sculptures are going to melt. Why waste the money on something that is gonna melt. Instead use that extra cash for your honeymoon. Cause if your going all out. why not have presents to bring back from where your going for your honeymoon? it’s just a thought.

    Hi and congratulations:

Go to the National Ice Carving Association. Here is the link:

It lists ice sculptors in each state. Good luck!

Ask when you are calling around for caterers.
The chef at our venue - a hotel ballroom - did our ice sculpture free. Very cool!
