I live in upstate South Carolina and let me say the most beautiful churches are in Charleston but that is a coastal city so I guess your husband wouldn’t agree to that. Just in case the two best churches there are St.Michaels and St.Peters. One good church in the upstate is Christ Church which is in downtown Greenville. Here is the link:
